H1N1 linked to GM Potatoes
...they have discovered a ‘critical link’ between the H1N1 influenza (Swine Flu) virus and genetically modified amylopectin potatoes that are consumed in massive quantities nearly exclusively by Westerners and sold in fast food restaurants as French Fries."
According to the report, the protease enzyme (the enzyme that begins the digestion of proteins) of the potatoes in question has been altered to make them more hardy and less vulnerable to the Potato virus X, a dangerous plant disease that can cause devastating losses of potato crops. This genetic change causes an "explosive" replication of the H1N1 influenza virus."
This proposed link between the H1N1virus and French fries would explain why a vast number of cases of H1N1 are common to the young...

OP your link is down...here's another
url=http://www.naturalnews.com/023539.html]GM Foods: The U.S. Fights Mandatory Labeling in An Untested Human Experiment [/url]
(NaturalNews) The U.S. and several other nations recently attended a Codex meeting this month in Calgary, Canada to discuss food labeling. The Codex Alimentarius Commission implements the Joint FAO/WHO Food Standards Program, the purpose of which is to protect the health of consumers and to ensure fair practices in the food trade. The Codex Alimentarius (Latin, meaning Food Law or Code) is a collection of internationally adopted food standards presented in a uniform manner. One of the principle reasons for this forum was to discuss the necessity, or lack of necessity as the U.S. sees it, to set up mandatory labeling of GM (genetically modified) and GE (genetically engineered) foods for consumers. South Africa (SA) and many African countries are strong dissenting voices of the U.S. policy that all GM/GE foods are considered equal to non-GM/GE foods and are in fact deemed safe under a 1992 George H. W. Bush Executive Order. |

RE: H1N1 linked to GM Potatoes
I was unaware that there are GM potatoes, not surprised really just angry at the lack of choice I'm given in what I buy.
The other day I bought soda, it wasn't diet or low carb or anything funky so i didn't look at the ingredients but i knew there was something in there besides sugar as soon as i tasted it. A glance at the label revealed sugar and aspartame. It's not diet so why the hell does it need aspartame? Why are they slipping this shit into non-diet items? Do i have to read every damn label now?
What else.. Oh yeah.. recycled water from our sewage treatment plant is now being used to irrigate vegetables grown for human consumption, again nothing on the label so cant choose.
Also bio-solids from sewage treatment plants are a common component in potting mix, again not on the label. Our sewage treatment facility's website states they are looking for more uses for bio-solids, what will it be in next? Do i really want to know?
take 2 on that link..

The Russian report states, "Scientists from Russia’s Ministry of Health are warning in a secret report to Prime Minister Putin that they have discovered a ‘critical link’ between the H1N1 influenza (Swine Flu) virus and genetically modified amylopectin potatoes that are consumed in massive quantities nearly exclusively by Westerners and sold in fast food restaurants as French Fries."
Post that Russian report...the secret one...
