When speaking to a girl at a bar or club should you try your best trying to sound good to a girl or should you genuinely speak from what you truly want to know?

Oh shit I did neither!
I know what I'm capable of and I hardly ever show it. But at the same time there's a genuine side that most girls might find boring...

Thnx but honesty can be harsh sometimes, and most people really aren't honest to begin with. We all tend to be actors at one point or another, a defensive mechanism. Honesty equates vulnerability, and that means that we open up ourselves to get hurt, well it depends on your thought processes, how many people out there are truly being honest? Are you? I know that I've been conditioned to be on guard but I'm trying to change that, I want to open up and btw all of you people here have been very helpful (an understatement! ). Thnx!

well, there's honesty and honesty
you can bring it across brutal or nice
but if you want yourself to be loved you have to show that self and not hide it
there's always the risk of being hurt, whatever you do in life
do you stop walking because you stumble and fall sometimes?

I am a very shy person myself.
But i can tell you my experience.
If you like a girl look into her eyes.
Make her smile perhaps she will come towards you.
Of course only if your alone.

(not alone/or alone)
Just walk over and make her laugh.

If you are not yourself it is not gonna work out.

Ask yourself this do you have confidence?? Any thoughts come up that make you doubt?

Just say to yourself what do you have to lose?
You already have NO, can only get a yes :).
You can only go forward.
