Bush is only a puppet - but how sad it is that at this crossroads for America, for the world even, that the puppet who speaks as though he has this enormous power over the fate of individuals and of nations, speaks with the voice of an inarticulate moron.

It is shameful, but somehow in the light of the motivations that drive our history into being, the small-minded individual greed of the pursuit of personal wealth, it is also appropriate.

Oh crap. I am so done with Bush. We have been lied to about how many of our troops have died... it is about 50 thousand now..they cheat the numbers by flying wounded out of the war theater and if they die in Germany or other bases... they are not counted.

What I have come to understand ...is that the people we have elected..are not Americans. They do not care about us or our children...they want to use us up. And I am so done. I do not believe Mr. President anymore...I do not back him... I do not back any of the phony tv candidates they are shoving down my throat. And I think we as a Nation are on the brink of civil war.

If the Supremes...the court try to take out our right to keep and bear arms, it may come to war. They need to have hidie holes in mountains, to hide themselves and their families so that they are safe...but we know where there are. I think that is important that they understand...we know were you are! You hired the poor to build the places.. and we know where you are!

The successes we are seeing in Iraq are undeniable.

Also, white is black... Inflation is good... dogs are actually cats, and I just recently found out that up is in fact down.

What I have come to understand ...is that the people we have elected..are not Americans.

The American public needs to be impeached also.

Hell yea, we need to put an end to the Democratic movement taking hold there. They got a chance to have a one free election with many different candidates but that has to be stopped now. We need to get the hell out of there and let the bad guys that were in power before retake control so they can rebuild their prisons and once again start torturing, robbing, raping, and killing suspected subversives. And if the Iraqi's decide the small taste of Democracy they had for the last year or so is what they want then let them fight for it.

5 years ago, Iraq was in the grip of a cruel dictator. Since then, Iraqis have assumed sovereignty of their country, held free elections with many candidates instead of just one, drafted a democratic constitution, and approved that constitution in a nationwide referendum. The third time that year they again went to the polls and chose a new government under their new constitution.

The Arab despots and their friends in America make a meal of the cliché that democracy cannot be imposed by force. But what happened in Iraq was not imposing democracy by force. The US-led alliance used force to try and remove impediments to democracy in Iraq which were Saddam and his murderous thugs some of whom still are fighting with Al Qaeda's help to retake control of Iraq. The people of Iraq became co-liberators of their country first by not opposing the US-led coalition and then by risking their lives to set their nation on a new path in the face of the most vicious terrorism ever seen in the region.

It is time to see what is happening in Iraq on its own merits and not in the context of an irrational hatred of the United States and/or George W. Bush. Like it or not Bush has got one thing right: Give any nation a chance to choose freedom and democracy and it will.

under your premise every nation in the world needs to be invaded then including but not limited to the usa. if you are not thoroughly outraged you have not been paying attention or do not care. the so called insurgents were not there until the usa invaded. you have also no proof of how many people that saddam killed and how things were under his rule but only 3 hand 'knowledge' and that is by the usa number which we all know are most probably skewed.

I think they should invade New Jersey. There doesn't seem to be much democracy there.

Talk about red herrings. How is the American Revolution an invasion? We're talking about invading a soveriegn country, as Senator Byrd pointed out. There is no legal framework to invade another country for the sake of regime change.
They have elections in Russia and call it a democracy but we know that Putin is a dictator. Voting doesn't make a democracy. They voted in Burma and the army said the people got it wrong so they took over.

Yea, we should have never gone into Germany during world war 2. Now they have to suffer under Democracy instead of enjoying a long and lasting dictatorship under Hitler Jr.


P.S. Whining like Barack about what happened 5 years ago is useless. We are there, democratic reforms and elections with more than one candidate are a reality. Don't like that fact do you?
